RPG Maker strikes again! "Friday 星期五部门" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. There's no English translation for the game, but that's ok. It turns out, the language of bad games is universal. Notably the developer here couldn't work out how to use RPG Maker to make an RPG... and that's the only thing RPG Maker can do properly... except it's not even very good for making RPGs. Instead, we have a very badly written "slice of life" adventure/interactive novel where you wander around an office talking to RPG Maker asset flipped characters and sometimes pointlessly collecting stuff... essentially, a terrible idea, written terribly, and slapped together badly by flipping assets and templates in the terrible RPG Maker. Мне понравилось, как разработчики сбалансировали сложность: задачи становятся более комплексными с каждым днем, но всегда есть ощущение, что ты способен справиться. Графика нарочито простая, но приятная глазу, а азиатский сеттинг придает игре особую атмосферу. Отдельно хочу отметить юмор и многочисленные отсылки, которые добавляют шарма. Однако, игра не идеальна. Со временем геймплей может показаться немного однообразным, и хотелось бы больше разнообразия в задачах и персонажах. Кроме того, донат тут вполне уместен, чтобы ускорить прогресс, хотя играть можно и без вложений. В целом, 'Friday 星期五部门' - отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет ненавязчивую игру, чтобы убить время в дороге или отвлечься от работы. Рекомендую попробовать!
