最強宗師 is a very packed card strategy RPG that immediately gives me a lot to manage. I take control of a cultivation sect and build up a team of disciples while working toward becoming the strongest grandmaster. I liked the overall idea because it combines character collection, turn based battles, resource production and sect management into one experience. The combat is built around arranging a team and making use of different character roles and abilities. I enjoyed thinking about how the members of my team work together because positioning and skill combinations can make a noticeable difference. The fact that characters can be developed through different cultivation methods and equipment gives me plenty of ways to improve a lineup. The resource management side is also a big part of the game. My disciples can produce materials through activities such as farming, smelting and commerce, which means progress can continue even when I am not actively fighting. I liked that idle element because it makes the sect feel like a functioning organization rather than simply a screen where I collect characters.
