Gangsta Underground : The Poker

"Gangsta Underground : The Poker" is a rather poorly made VR "poker" experience, a bit like Poker Night at the Inventory 2, except without any interesting characters or banter, and somewhat poorly done VR exclusivity (another reviewer dutifully pointed out this is so badly made you can glitch around slightly and see other players cards). So, like it says on the box, you play poker with some bland "unsavoury" bad guys (with a bit of a twist at the end). It's an underwhelming experience due to lack of polish and overall poor technical implementation. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or…
