About Garganta
Story Overview
Enter a desolate megastructure, given the codename 'Garganta', which houses a cataclysmic device putting the Universe at risk. Embody Servo, a highly advanced android capable of traversing the dilapidated construct.
Players will find that the only signs of life in the megastructure are various sapient machines. Their existences are oftentimes hellish, becoming trapped in mundane objects with no voice with which to cry out, no identity to cling to. Some may try to help, though others have intentions beyond your comprehension.
You will be ironclad, running, climbing and jumping your way across this world without reason. So that you may come to The End, and forge your own purpose in the crucible of singularity.

The Developers
Originally the capstone project of 4 RMIT students from Melbourne, Garganta became a fully developed indie game, eventually being displayed at PAX Melbourne 2023.
Our goal was simple, we wanted to make a visually compelling game, paying special homage to the works of Tsutomu Nihei, especially Blame!, which served as one of our biggest inspirations for the environments of the game.

badly optimized and pretty painful platforming sections.5 found this helpful
impressive graphics for a student project, on unity of all things. Very badly optimized, was hitting 40 fps on my i9, rtx 4070 ti super rig. frankly i dropped it after 10 mins and 10 consecutive deaths on the same laser death trap spot. i just dont care to spend that much time on something like this, but i encourage the devs to keep at it.2 found this helpful

Not very good
It's free. Check it out. I liked it for the time I played it. But the bugs involve the momentum of the wall runs. I wish you could wall run on anything and not just the gold walls. Unskippable cut scenes? That's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crime.
You could probably finish this game in like 20 minutes, feels like a work in progress. Doesn't run very well, random frame drops, bunch of bugs, double jump feature barely works, story isn't the best. It could be a good game but everything feels last minutes
