Ich verstehe nicht, worum es in diesem Spiel geht. Wenn es nach mir ginge, hätte ich mich erst gar nicht verlaufen. Regeln gibt es aus einem Grund, halt dich daran.

Yo, so I wanted to edit my review as not only was it out of frustration, but wasn't constructive do to it being during a 20 hr stream. So I wanna take a moment to list the pros and cons and what kept me from completing the game and having a great experience. Pros: - Atmosphere was good and the map was very eye catching. - Voice acting was fun and engaging. - Both game name and concept was both fun and charming. Cons: - Lack of scare factors and anti climatic jump scares. - There was WAY to much walking with really nothing to do. - Puzzles would either feel way to easy or down right impossible with nothing in between. - Last computer puzzle was so impossible that there is no walkthrough on YouTube and most creators gave up making impossible to complete. Because of the cons outweighing the pros I cant give the a positive review however if the game is reworked and polished I would definitely give it another shot in a video.

Geisterbahnhof is a small free horror game that puts me inside an abandoned subway station where the main goal is simply to survive and find my way back out. I start as an ordinary commuter who ends up wandering into a part of the underground system that should not really be there. From that point on I am exploring dark tunnels, looking for useful items and trying to work out what I am supposed to do while something is actively hunting me. I like the basic idea because an abandoned underground station is already a pretty good setting for horror, and the game makes a lot of use out of that uncomfortable feeling of being lost somewhere I should not be. The atmosphere is probably the strongest part for me. The tunnels are dark and isolated, and I never really feel completely safe because the pursuer can appear while I am trying to work out where to go next. The game also uses jump scares, but I think the constant tension of knowing something could be nearby works better than the actual scares themselves. I have to keep moving while also paying attention to the environment, which makes simple exploration feel more stressful than it normally would. It has that liminal underground feeli…

Everything was great until I came across the puzzle where you have to move the files from the left column to the right and they can only stack a certain way. There is no skip option. I was unable to solve the puzzle, thus I was unable to finish the game. Unfortunately, this means an automatic thumbs down from me.

The last computer puzzle is downright annoying.
