About Go North

It is not very often I see a Littler attempt to Go North. Tell me, little one, what motivates you? It is said that the Maze God resides at the northernmost part of the world and that he grants one wish to any adventurer brave and clever enough to reach him… could that be you?Embark on a cozy and immersive maze adventure as Dara seeks to make her one wish come true. With the help of numerous magical and technological items, navigate beautifully unique labyrinthine environments and explore expansive worlds in a story-driven adventure that prioritizes peace over progress.Guide Dara through diverse mazes purposefully crafted by the Maze Makers to test her perseverance. But something sinister seems to be corrupting the mazes. Something… or someone.

  • Navigate beautiful mazes in 3rd person: walk around atmospheric and gorgeous levels while discovering different items, characters, puzzles and stories.
  • Use unique and helpful items scattered around each maze ranging from simple items like a hoverboard to more elaborate items like a robot mouse that scurries towards the exit.
  • Solve puzzles and avoid obstacles: use your wits to solve the different puzzles and obstacles within each maze. Decipher different riddles and clues to uncover secret passages, items and easter eggs.
  • Wander through an infinite amount of cleverly generated mazes of varying forms and worlds in Arcade Mode.
  • Accessorize Dara’s outfit with hats, scarves, goggles, backpacks, and other undiscovered treasures.
  • Discover the elusive Golden Compass locations in each maze.

Go North is a very charming and relaxing puzzle game with a beautiful art style. It's very nice to go exploring through the mazes with no time limits, which allows me to explore every corner and find more collectibles and quests. I love that you can collect keychain trinkets specifically - just like my real collection!

Go North is really delightful! As someone who doesn't play a ton of puzzle games, this felt really accessible. The art style is striking, and Dara is charming so far. I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys puzzle games and cozier titles!

As an across-the-board gamer, I must give it to the creator of this Game! The blend between amazing world building and a healthy challenge has kept me locked in for hours. Each level is both soothing and mildly tasking. I love it here.

Go North is one of the most visually impressive games we've played from an African developer. Exploring its handcrafted mazes was truly relaxing, and we loved that the game encourages you to slow down instead of rushing from objective to objective. The controls are simple, the puzzles are enjoyable, and the cozy atmosphere kept us playing for seven hours. Our biggest issue is the story. Dara's journey never quite gave us enough reason to care about her, and several interesting ideas - like the Broken Compass protesters and the Maze God - don't get the payoff they deserve. The soundtrack also becomes repetitive after a while. Even so, if you're looking for a beautiful, laid-back adventure that rewards exploration, Go North is worth your time.
