About Go Quirk!

Experience the delightful, mischievous digital card game, in single-player, that will have you cheering with joy, getting your own back and collecting lots of cute quirky characters. Go Quirk! is a digital card game where you collect your favourite characters, then block, steal and stop your way to victory. Based on the traditional card game rules of Go Fish, with a new and exciting twist.

There's lots going on in a game of Go Quirk!, you'll be memorising where characters are and who's exchanged cards, strategizing your gameplay with action cards and making smart decisions on which cards to play and when! This is your route to winning a game and celebrating with the most Quirks.

But it doesn't stop there! All the Quirks you've collected get added to your sticker book for your selected deck. This is where you can set goals and change the way you play the game; seeking out specific Quirks to complete your sticker collection. Once all 13 characters have been unlocked for your deck, you'll unlock the next deck and experience 13 new characters. There are 4 decks to complete. Can you collect them all?

Collect the same character more than once? No problem. Now's your chance to make them bronze, silver and gold in your sticker book!

Part collectathon, part memory game, all card game.

Each game takes roughly 5 minutes to play.

The app is based on the real physical card game Quirk! by Gibsons.

Go Quirk! is a cute, single player card game where you collect cute beasties called Quirks to add to your sticker book while you test your memory and skills. Settings include; audio controls and difficulty settings. If you wish to put your game into windowed mode, put -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 (or a resolution of your choice) under properties in the games Steam library page under launch options and relaunch the game. Then after relaunch just hit alt+enter for it to resize.
Gameplay
This game is similar to the card game “Go Fish”. As you win hands you collect cute little beasties or Quirks that you add to your sticker book. If you get duplicates they just go to upgrade your stickers automatically from bronze, to silver and to ultimately gold. You start off being able to access one of four decks (with the other three becoming unlocked as you complete your Quirk collection in each one). You start off with the Forest deck. Others include Castle, Night and Beach decks with different quirks in each deck or realm to collect that are unique to each one. The goal of each game is to win the most quirks at the end. A “Quirk” is three of the…

Super cute, super simple family card game based on Go Fish! with added action cards, and its pretty fun and pretty addictive too. The other main difference is that you only get one move per turn, even it you 'catch' a Quirk. The addition of tiered progress where you collect each animal set (suit book equivalent) to earn the next set of different animal cards, really adds to the moreish feeling, like collecting Pokemon. But it wont stay moreish forever once you catch 'em all and the main reason for that is.... no multiplayer. It strikes me that a multiplayer option of this could really add to the longevity and appeal of this game, and with Steam Families just released into the wild this would be an absolutely perfect candidate. Instead, I'm afraid you're stuck with just CPUs (3 difficulty levels) to play against. Although the game is very simple, I like the art style and production values, the UI is simple as is the tutorial. I've noticed a couple of bugs and oversights though: the game can terminally freeze from time to time requiring a restart (there's no mid-game save state) and the CPUs can play their steal protection card when they don't have the asked-for card, effectivel…

So much fun, and easy to see that the physical game would be even better. Hilarious sound effects and some very Quirky characters, 10/10

A delightful card game full of personality, it's fun to collect characters but it feels even better to steal them!

Go Quirk by Emmerse Studios is a digital adaptation of a card game that aims to provide a playful twist on the classic "Go Fish" formula. Designed for a younger audience, this single-player game with three opponents offers simple gameplay mechanics and colorful visuals but ultimately lacks depth and variety. The main objective of Go Quirk is to collect sets of three cards with the same character. Unlike traditional "Go Fish," players can steal cards from their opponents, adding a unique strategic element to the game. This gameplay mechanic makes Go Quirk somewhat more engaging than its classic counterpart, as it requires players to plan their moves carefully. One notable feature of Go Quirk is the ability to change player colors, which adds a small degree of personalization to the game. The three difficulty levels – Easy, Medium, and Hard – provide some variety, but the difference between them is not particularly significant. As players collect sets, they are rewarded with stamps for each of the four game areas, giving them a sense of progression. Despite its attempts to innovate, Go Quirk suffers from some limitations. The absence of a window mode may be inconvenient for playe…
