Grav Blazer Squared, developed and published by Ripknot Systems, is a top-down space shooter that aims to blend fast-paced arcade action with procedurally generated environments. It presents itself as a retro-inspired experience with simple visuals, chaotic combat, and a gameplay loop built around high difficulty and intense repetition. While it certainly delivers on the aesthetic and pacing of old-school shooters, its execution leaves a lot to be desired, especially for players seeking deeper systems or refined gameplay mechanics. The core premise of the game is straightforward. You pilot a spacecraft through sector after sector of increasingly aggressive enemies and turret-filled arenas. Your primary objective is to destroy a set number of enemy bases in each level, all while surviving waves of enemies and bullets coming at you from every direction. Movement is responsive enough for basic navigation, and the shooting mechanics offer some flexibility with rotating attack options and power shots, but these features aren’t deep or nuanced enough to evolve over time. The procedural generation keeps things somewhat fresh during the first few runs, but it doesn’t take long before patt…1 found this helpful
It's the exact same thing as Grav Blazer with the visuals swapped out. I'm just going to copy/paste my review for that like they did for this game: Low effort trash from a shovelware "company"... shocking. Included are low effort main and pause menus, cutoff UI, a static background image, and a single looping song. The controls are poor; changing direction will cause you to lose all momentum. The gameplay itself is highly repetitive. You go sector to sector destroying a specific number of space stations. It's the same enemies every time... gets old after just a few minutes.1 found this helpful

Simple controls, tons of enemies, and constant movement. Not recommended.

Same problem the first game has, as well as being, pretty much the same game, with a few new textures and what have you.
