About Grizzly Valley

✦ AI summary

Pack wisely before venturing into the Canadian wilderness, where your survival depends on the supplies you choose and the decisions you make facing real environmental threats and a dangerous grizzly bear. This realistic survival adventure challenges you to scavenge, repair your vehicle, and stay alive using authentic mechanics grounded in actual wilderness hazards.

Introduction:

The game takes place in Western Canada. Our protagonist got a call from his sister, asking him to visit her as soon as possible.

Gameplay:

The gameplay is divided into two parts:

- The first part consists of exploration of protagonist's house in search of supplies that might come useful in your journey and packing up for the trip. You must choose the items wisely because they will be vital for your survival.
- The second and the main part of the game puts you alone in the wilderness. You must utilize all the items you've packed up for the trip in order to survive, gather additional supplies and vehicle parts to repair your car, while trying your best not to get caught by a roaming grizzly bear.

The game offers you a variety of tactics, based on a set of items you've got in the beginning.

Success depends on the set of items the player picked in the first part of the game, as well as on his/her actions in the second one.

The game has a really realistic approach to the survival mechanics. There is no mysticism or cliched horror movie creatures here. The player experiences the situations which are likely to occur in real life.

Warning: Asset Flip!
Grizzly Valley is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Grizzly Valley is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" ripped off a few Unity assets, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to…

Grizzly Valley, developed and published by The\_Kiddy, is an indie survival horror game that attempts to deliver a tense and grounded experience set against the backdrop of the rugged Canadian wilderness. The premise is straightforward yet effective: you play as a character who ventures to visit his sister but quickly becomes stranded and stalked by a relentless grizzly bear. This setup offers a unique survival horror angle that eschews supernatural elements in favor of a more realistic, nature-driven threat, aiming to immerse players in a harrowing fight for survival where every choice matters. The gameplay in Grizzly Valley is divided into two primary phases. Initially, players explore the protagonist’s home, scavenging for essential supplies and tools that will aid in the survival journey ahead. This part emphasizes inventory management and careful decision-making since the items you carry directly impact your ability to withstand the threats of the wilderness. Once outside, the focus shifts to navigating the vast forest, managing resources, and avoiding or confronting the bear. The tension is palpable, as the threat is ever-present and the environment feels both expansive and …

The worst ''game" I have ever played, the last moment is especially annoying when they don't allow you to repair the damn car cuz u can't carry more than 10 kg . Better save your money, a trash like this must be completely free, anyway, it isn't worth the time wasted.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…
