About Hacksaw Massacre
Hacksaw Massacre brings you to the house of the corrupt mayor of a small Canadian town who died many years ago. Set in the 1980's this indie horror game has you investigating what happened, and what is still happening in this cursed mansion.
This story driven first person adventure horror will have you walking through the home (and surrounding areas!) of the corrupt mayor looking for clues of what happened years ago, and to discover who's waiting for you inside.
This game features jump scares, silly characters with silly conversations, collectibles items and journal entries and puzzles to be solved.

Hi Devs I did play it for over an hour and I was told its your first game (no clue if its true) and I did really enjoy it up until chapter 4 when you couldn't get the end of the game achievement for some reason but if it is your first published game Id say it is a bit expensive for a game I could finish in about an hour that may lack in replayability (Which is granted with it being your first game that probably did take a long while with a small dev team) WWW: the hallway getting smaller in chapter 3 was cool , the guy with the hacksaw murdering my friend the cashier in front of me was really funny because he started spinning out like crazy but I didn't get a clip :(. The humour was good like the homeless guy behind the station with just his legs dangling out or the big guy from the station in the cage was funny and the bathtub in the station bathroom. EBI: The achievement for finishing chapter five even after getting put on the table in that one ending and it sent me back to the menu so I assumed it had ended but maybe not and I did it wrong even though it seemed like it had no other direction to go since the other little building would…3 found this helpful
Im not gonna lie to you, I think this game sucks. Its very obviously underbaked, which isnt surprising considering the demo for it came out less than a month ago (I played the demo 11 days before the full game) In the demo there were issues, felt under-done and under developed. No detail, no actual story, underwhelming dialogue and visuals (no details). I also experienced a game breaking bug in the demo. The video of the demo and bug is up on youtube, as is the full game. There are more details in the mansion than the demo, but thats where the improvements stop. Out in the garden in chapter 2, which is like 5 minutes long, nothing happens and the shed is locked. It looks weird, not like itd be anyone's backyard. You go into the basement and this is where this game went from mediocre to bad. First you have a sequence where you step on runes after the game takes your flashlight so youre running after these lights that flash once you step on the runes then turn off. You do a loop around back to where you came from, and youre supposed to know to follow a singular blue arrow going into the dark (with no flashlight) which isnt well communicated on thats where youre meant to go.
