About Haste-Miner 2
When mining, you earn a currency called tokens and the blocks you mine are stored in your "backpack". Tokens can be used to upgrade your pickaxe in lots of different ways. The upgrades vary from increasing your pickaxe damage, your mine speed, the tokens and money you get, as well as various "procc" (programmed random occurrence) upgrades, for example; "Slammer", "Nuker", "Key finder", "Token bag" and more. The blocks stored in your backpack can be sold for in game money, which is used to unlock new mines with better blocks in them. The money can also be used to upgrade your offline "Token generator", buy pickaxe skins and eventually, unlock whole new planets.
Planets can be travelled between with money (lots of it). You start on earth and from there you can unlock the moon (I know, technically not a planet). Which has much more valuable blocks, from the moon you can go to the next planet. The game currently has 5 different planets with different scenery, economy scale and dungeons.
The dungeon is an alternative way of playing the game. After you unlock the dungeon (for money and tokens), instead of mining in a squared generated mined, you can then instead mine in a big cave area with ores scattered around the place. The ores in here are much more valuable and instead of being stored in your backpack, they will sometimes give you various item rewards when mines. Watch your steps though, because if you fall into any of the pits in the dungeon, everything you had gained in there will be lost. The dungeon the primary way of obtaining "spirit flasks", which can be used to receive a random "Spirit".
Spirits are equippable "buffs" you can use in the game. Each spirit is unique and will enhance certain aspects of the game (while sometimes nerfing others). You can have 1 spirit equipped at a time and most spirits can be upgraded (by mining) for increased effects. The game has 25 different spirits ranging in 5 different rarity tiers. Spirits can be obtained by opening a spirit flask, which can be obtained in the dungeon, and from treasures.
Treasures are a great way to give you a little bonus when playing. Treasures can be opened with a matching key, which can be obtained in various ways. When opening a treasure, a key will be consumed, and you will receive a random reward from that treasure.
Generators can be used to earn passive income while playing, but also while offline. Each planet has a token generator and a money generator, which are upgraded with the opposite currency (money with tokens, and token with money). Upgrading your generator will increase it's capacity and the amount in generates per second. Generators can also be buffed by upgrading a certain mega upgrade with rebirth points.
The "Rebirth" system is a way to replay the game with a buff.Once you have reached a certain "level" in the game and mined a certain amount of blocks, you can rebirth.
Rebirthing will reset most of your stats (except for spirits and unlocked planets) but will give you a 10% money & token income boost as well as 1 rebirth point (RP) which you use to buy permanent mega upgrades. These upgrades are very different to the normal upgrades but are much more powerful.
On top of all these features. Haste-Miner 2 has much more to explore and try out.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise this relaxing idle game as a good choice for casual, low-attention gameplay with satisfying progression mechanics, though some find the actual mining less engaging than just letting the currency generators run passively. Common complaints include rough UI elements with input sensitivity issues, poor display options that cut off content, lack of explanation for game mechanics, and several achievements (particularly the 100 million block requirement) that are tedious or glitched rather than enjoyable.
I have mixed feelings on this one. I haven't yet gotten to other planets or the reset mechanic but so far it's almost better to literally AFK in town and let the two currency generators do their duty for a couple hours. Spam some upgrades, rinse repeat. The actual block mining is more "do some of that if you want to". Also the town UI is rough. Sometimes buying multiple upgrades when I just click once, like it has some sensitivity issues. Not too much of a problem when you're flooded with resources but early on it was pretty annoying. It's... okay. Serviceable. I want to hit the other planets to see if the scenery changes but not sure I'll be on this one for the long haul or not.3 found this helpful

I simply can't stop playing.2 found this helpful
It's ok. The game is exactly what I've expected, nothing more, nothing less. The last three achievements are just stupid.2 found this helpful
Guy puts out another game on steam and this one doesn't even display properly. Doesn't have an option to change it. so half the screen is missing. I cant read what half the stuff does. No explanations. No idea there was an inventory until opening the discussions. hopefully the next game is better. Poor form leaving this one in this state and making another game. After getting all the Achievements, the game is not great. The 10 million blocks was so annoying. Please do not buy Eternamine. Its just a worse version of this bad game. This game gives mining games a bad name.
this is a extremely simple game/ concept so there isn't much to talk about its your classic idle type game mine blocks get points/money spend it rinse and repeat, if your looking for a game to not pay to much attention to and relax this will be up your alley, its not great but its not bad it is just what it is, now most people see little games like this that have Achievements and see another easy game to 100% for completion and while almost all of this games Achievements are really easy to obtain the last 2 Achievements are just dumb to obtain, they require you to mine 100 million blocks and while the game has upgrades to make you mine more than one block at a time its glitched so you have to mine said 100 million blocks at 1x which someone on the community hub has made a post about and calculated it would take around 500 or more hours and nobody wants to spend that much time on this game and i doubt it will be getting fixed either as it has been documented and no fixes have been applied. End of the day there are far better games out there and the one thing (Achievements) that people might buy this game for isn't even worth it either unless you want to waste a good chunk of you li…
