About Highland Panic

Highland Panic is an exciting and fast-paced Scottish/Highland themed multiplayer card game designed for 2-4 players. If you enjoy classic games like Nertz or Dutch Blitz, you'll love Highland Panic! The game is built around the familiar mechanics of solitaire, but with a unique twist that makes it even more challenging and competitive.

In Highland Panic, players race against each other to play all the cards from their panic pile first. Points are earned for every card played to the common Clan pile area, but be careful - points will be subtracted for any cards left in your panic pile at the end of a round! The first player to score at least 75 points wins the game.

With easy-to-learn gameplay mechanics and quick, fast-paced rounds, Highland Panic is the perfect game for parties, game nights, and casual play. Whether you're a seasoned card player or a newcomer to the world of card games, you'll find something to love in Highland Panic. So gather your friends, sharpen your wits, and get ready for an epic battle of strategy and skill!

Available for Windows, iOS (Apple App Store), and Android (Google Play Store).

Lots of fun, even against bots. I haven't played this with friends yet, but given the opportunities to react to your opponents' situations and try to beat them to the punch, it's got all the ingredients for a fantastic party game. Best with 4 players for sure. I was not familiar with Dutch Blitz, but there's a surprising amount of depth to it. Managing your trading piles (don't just move cards there without thinking- you may cover up a higher card you'll want to play), keeping track of which cards you're waiting for your opponents to play to the clan piles, and the trickiest part, paying attention to all of your opponents. Everyone's piles are face-up, so good luck keeping track of it all! If you really need to play that red 3 from your panic pile, but some of your opponents have the same card, you'd better be fast when the red 2 gets played!
