What an interesting little game. As I understand it, everything from game programming and art design to soundtrack design and writing was done by one person. That is very impressive. Although, that being said, the game is not perfect. At the time that I played I encountered a few bugs and the game overall felt a little janky. But, in fairness, I think the developer will fix those bugs soon, if he didn't fix them already. For now the most persistent and annoying "bug" (perhaps feature) that I noticed is that your character will sometimes miss when he's shooting. Don't want to spoil the story, so all I can say is that the story doesn't seem like anything special up until about the middle of the game. And then it grabs you. Also, I was surprised by some novel gameplay (even though it appeared only for a short time) close to the middle of the game. Overall, I would recommend playing it if you want to play something short and interesting made by an indie developer.
Graphics
Right away I'd tell you that the visual style might push you away and may seem cheaply made (like in old flash games), but you get used to it quickly and you can even notice that in some places the game is fairly well made and detailed (decorations and interior). Animations are simple and there are not a lot of them, but they are passable.
Gameplay
The main gameplay consists of finding items and fighting zombies. You're exploring different locations which differ in scale and look for the needed items to pass through to the next level, and sometimes you solve puzzles. Enemies can be killed with a baseball bat or a firearm. There's few ammo, and zombies can appear suddenly and kill you with one shot (bite). Beside that the game has a few surprises which can please you and add variety to the gameplay.
Story(no spoilers)
The premise of the game is fairly simple, but with each new level the plot gets more and more interesting and it makes you want to follow it. The story develops gradually and has a few unexpected moments. You see the development of the main character and his relationship with his family which helps to empathize with him much…

Good thing I can say about the game - it brings back memories of Flashback game from 1992. Narrative in the game may be good but the game doesn't allow me to enjoy it. Unfortunately the game is empty and hard. - Fight mechanics is unforgiving. Zombies kill you from the first bite and you only have small window when you can land a bat swing at them. - Levels are empty. You can wander around, look into empty rooms but there isn't anything that reward the exploration. - There are no highlights on active areas or items. This means you have to spam "Interact" button while walking. It feels like pixel hunting. - Control layout allows you to play with your left hand. Game expects you to quickly move fingers and not to miss the keys because zombies give you little time to react. And finally I got stuck after about 1 hour of gameplay: https://youtu.be/3MLmatRbsE4 Overall I think the game may be way better if it won't be as hard.
