In Bloom: Prologue is a free version of In Bloom. Experience the core gameplay and get a taste of the experience that awaits in the full game.Drawing inspiration from masterpieces such as The Last of Us and Amnesia, In Bloom is a survival-horror game. You play as a farmer waking up, abandoned by his family and unfamiliar with his surroundings. All you can see around you is that what once was owned by man has now been retaken by nature. Your only hope of survival is following the instructions of a mysterious stranger whose voice you hear over a radio, instructing you to go to Save Haven base and join the rest of the survivors. Will you survive? Will you manage to fight your way through? Or will you allow nature to overtake you as well?

I didn't enjoy the game. I know game development can be hard. I wont dawg on that stuff. It's the fact there is zero story once you get in the game and hit start. Not even simple text. Wandering aimlessly around having no idea what your doing or why isn't and enjoyable experience. The story should be the thing you focus on first not the game itself otherwise your making a game that feels like a tech demo. Other than that outside of some weird gameplay flaws (Prob cus its not polished yet) it is a cool concept.1 found this helpful
Cant recommend this to anyone. Survival Horror at it worst, the story is awful ammo is everywhere no save points and enemies are flowers and twig men things. When walking the man hands and gun don't move or the aim there just solid and it cheap and bad. It starts in a setting that catches your attention and that's a plus. Things look well made and end of the world vibes. Then you realise the whole city is made of two houses which one is used in the forest at the start every barrels, pallet shelve all reused over and over. I understand asset flipping when your a small team but you cant buy into a city when its all the same. The only gun in a pistol from 1800s with zero recoil. The enemy AI is so bad they just charge at you and you spam that trigger till dead every time. The hitboxes on enemies are weird sometimes i aim near them and hit. If they get you you get flowers over your screen instead of blood which works. You runaway for a few seconds and back to work with no repercussions. Overall a free game so I cant moan but there's no way on earth I would buy the full release to see what its about, it plays like a student project but there's so many better ones to play.
I liked how enemies create tension while attacking , i liked the environment and i would be glad to see new updates like new kinds of enemies and some more narrative deepening with cinematics . Amazing !

Graphics are mid, sound is lousy, and overall it's boring.
