Infected Dawn is a somewhat low-key asset flip. The developer acknowledges that they took assets from other people to make the game, but only loosely credited those asset creators who inadvertently did more work on this "game" than the actual "developer". While it's possible the assets were used with permission, and thus this is not necessarily copyright infringement or plagiarism, it's still creatively bankrupt. There's also the old axiom... those who can't create game assets properly usually aren't particularly capable of any of the other parts of game development either, which is certainly true for this game. Regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. This asset flip/Unity kitbash has you experiencing the usual post apocalyptic infection scenario and you just clunk around various properties (teleporting around because moving between scenes is difficult for some asset flippers to program), collect stuff like batteries and bolt cutters until you adventure game your way to surviving the night... that's kinda all there is to it, it's an underwhelming puzzle game at best, but taking t…5 found this helpful
Incredible atmosphere of apocalypse, the concept is good and unique for this type of games
P.S. I died to an electric fence, be careful with that thing if you don't want to end your adventure like I did
1 found this helpful
Infected Dawn is a survival horror game developed and published by Lots of Logic Software that centers on preparation, resourcefulness, and strategic decision-making rather than nonstop combat. Set in a world devastated by a deadly outbreak, the game challenges players to survive by making every hour count. Instead of charging into battle, players spend their days exploring abandoned locations, scavenging for essential supplies, and returning to a safehouse before darkness falls. This day-and-night structure creates a constant sense of urgency, as every choice influences how well prepared players will be when the infected emerge in force. The gameplay revolves around balancing exploration with survival planning. Each expedition into the surrounding environment presents meaningful decisions about where to go, what to collect, and when to retreat. Time is a valuable resource, and staying out too long can leave the player dangerously unprepared for the night's assault. Buildings contain useful materials, tools, and equipment, rewarding those who thoroughly search every corner. The game's point-and-click interaction system slows the pace in a deliberate way, encouraging players to car…
Not bad
Decent little game that was fun to stream. It gave me nostalgic vibes of old flash games like The Last Stand. Could use a bit of polish, and the dev seems to have put some TLC into this game since the I saw Caseoh's playthrough of it as it has been revamped somewhat.
Honestly this game is pretty buggy, I love the idea of the game I think it would work well if the game was more polished the items randomised. I can't get 100% even though I have all the tools. Shovel, Bleach and Wrench is bugged they don't work on anything everything else works fine its quite annoying.
