James Peris: No license nor control - Definitive edition

An enjoyable game that many people have missed. Most of the dialogue is funny, and the puzzles are challenging without being illogical. I recommend the combative narrator. But there are a few mini-games I didn't like and sometimes you need to select the right dialogue to trigger another dialogue tree that may not be obvious. The story is a bit outlandish, but it's pretty original. There are numerous throwbacks to classic adventure games. There are girls you flirt with, and it does get a little sexual, but it's nowhere near the level in Leisure Suit Larry. It's good for around five hours of entertainment, and I highly recommend it to fans of the genre. I'm looking forward to the sequel. The no widescreen is not a deal-breaker.

James Peris is a satiristic, funny, politically incorrect (bless the developers´ souls) and, let´s face it, almost amateurish (in a good way but the voice acting could be better sometimes) graphic adventure, with a really pronounced personality. It will make you laugh for sure. P.S- Na, na, na, na, Pa-Pa-PacheQ, na, na, na, na, Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa... XD

First note, me Español. I did not come across James Peris when Erbe distributed it first decades ago, but there was so much jank sold in kiosks and I was not as much as give-me-all-adventures-please guy as I am now (meaning, now I praise the Gods and thank every developer that has ever made an effort to design a point n click game) that I ignored it until now. It's fine. The humour is dumb, the graphics and animations are decent, the voices are badly recorded, the puzzle design is actually from nice to brilliant. Feels like a budget Alcachofa Soft game, from those times every country in Europe were making their own niche adventure games for local consumption (Czechia and their Polda games are apt comparisons imho). I actually love that it is still available and that someone made an effort to translate it somehow. It also crashes a lot btw. While it does not, it is hugely entertaining.

Great game would recommend

Pros - Entirely playable with the mouse - Solid point and click puzzle design - Fun dialog with lots of quirky characters Cons - You have to finish the game all the way through before unlocking the uncensored version. - Maybe just me but the plot made no sense. Overall its rough around the edges but its still pretty enjoyable and if your into point and click adventure games the puzzle design is decent and engaging.

Broken, Can't even answer the phone from start. Roll the middle mouse button and as soon as it ring it goes back to look at.
