It's not that long of a game. Do Not buy, unless it's on sale. It is not worth 19.99. I bought this during the steam winter sale because I liked Jerez Arena 3 so much. Based on the price and content, pass. Keep in mind there is no animation, it is all stills.

Jerez's Arena has an intriguing premise but ultimately fails to deliver at the price it is sold. As far as gameplay goes, the "game" part of the game can be experienced in 4-5 hours. After that, it is a grind to unlock the rest of the H-content. If it was not obvious already from the CG's presented on the store page, they are very mediocre. I'm not sure what it is with some artists; their ecchi drawings are quite good, but as soon as clothes come off, it all goes to ♥♥♥♥. I hoped the game would make up for it in gameplay, but my expectations were cut short. It is unfortunate, because my first impressions were that the game is well designed and well paced for the first 4-5 hours, but after that there is no new game content. At the very least, it is a bug-free experience. Not worth $20, much less $10 on sale. Mostly just a waste of time. 4/10

Fun battle/arena manager game. Would like for it to have been a bit longer but has some replay value if you're looking for different endings.

I thought it was alright assuming you grabbed it on sale. I have just beat the game/one ending at the time of writing. I completed Jerez Arena III last Summer and had an absolute blast and wanted to see how the older titles faired/see the origins of the franchise. This game for the first entry is okay for what it is, but the third is waaaay better it isn't even close. I like the uncensored art, though it is all stills. Combat is basic, but ok. After clearing the game once, you unlock arena challenges which is where things pick up quite a bit. You play the role of a merchant slaveowner with conscience and acquire one and partner up with a free spirit. The story isn't much (just earning money), and the character interactions are ok. I do like the main character Glenn though based off the interactions from the quests/story based off his general interactions/integrity. The gameplay cycle follows a typical cycle of using action points to build your character through activities each day, and once you're done, you assign quests for you characters to go through. Combat is significantly easier than the 3rd game as I breezed through all of the main fights barring 1 los…
