Kartfinity is a really simple racing game built around a pretty fun idea. Instead of giving me a normal set of tracks that I eventually finish, it gives me an endless racing experience made from community created tracks. I can drive through the Infinite Mode, keep going from one track into another and see how far I can get. I like the concept because it gives the game a reason to keep generating new routes instead of making me work through the same small selection of races. The track creator is probably the part I find most interesting. I can build my own tracks and publish them so they can potentially become part of the Infinite Mode. That gives me something to do when I have had enough of simply driving, and it means the game is not entirely dependent on the developer making every new track themselves. I like simple creation tools when they actually connect back into the main game, and that is exactly what happens here. The driving itself is straightforward and fits the casual approach. I am not getting a serious racing simulator with complicated vehicle physics or a huge career mode. It is much more about picking up the game quickly and enjoying the tracks. I think that works …
