About Krai. Digital-poetry vol. 1

The first collection of digital-poetry Krai. Created by variously gone-mad poets. 5 games.
Curator: Ilia Mazo.

1. «Metaphysical Trolleybus Simulator». A parable about the path to a dream. The dream role belongs to a Mountain.

You are a trolley. Rolling around the city through your trolley-life, you know. Passengers inside will get mad, if you get out of the way. But you will get out and get it. A dream. A Mountain. And then they will sing a song for the first time in their passenger life. A song about the journey and voices in our heads.

2. «A Silent Room» is an existential hokku. Don’t you go outside without a hat?

Come in. Wellcome. A room. The room is always warm. It is funny, sad, calm, loud, and quiet inside. All your stuff is here, isn’t it? Sure, it is. It is your room. Time passes by, things go away and leave marks in your head. The more you remember, the less air you have. Have you ever seen this place, these walls before? You have already been here. Come inside. Lie down. It is silent. It is always silent.

«The Flower» is a dating-madness simulator. A flower afflatus, post-modern and post-psycho poetry.

After a long-long working day on a Plantation, you are in high spirits. Happy, right! Today is the day, today is the date with your lovely beloved. Your heart is burning, your breathing is rapid, the urban landscape around blooms in a euphoric frenzy of colors. Something makes you think better, feel better, see better, bloom better. But something is missing…

Bouquet! It would be extremely unethical to show up for a date without a bunch of flowers. No problem, it has never been a problem for you. Look around. All you need is to pick a few flowers…

«ORG» is a futuristic shoot-a-fable about the censor routine of the nearest future.

Congratulations! You have just got a promotion. From now on you are responsible for the art transfer through CAD (Culture Assurance Department). Be careful, the cultural enrichment of our clients lies in your hands.

The future is CAD. CAD is the Future.

«Ticker» is a running-n-crying runner about the mind night, the utterance impossibility.

Shortly before going to bed, you uprise a few words in front of your eyes and write them down on a piece of paper. You will try to remember the words’ order through falling asleep…the words…the order…ords…woder…

Each pulsating beat of your sleepy mind brings you closer and closer to the non-verbalized world. There is nothing to say. Say no more. The night is still young, and you are on your way to the letter fugue.

I didn't expect anything so it was a positive surprise This game is a little gem I liked the Trolleybus drive the best, it was really fun, even if I didn't understand a single word Poetry and funny glitches, what else can someone want? And it's free 8/10 Действительно хорошая игра, хорошая работа

"Krai. Digital-poetry vol. 1" is, don't worry, not an outright poetry e-book. That would be horrible. This is, instead, a collection of godawful Unity minigames/"art experiences" from Russia with zero quality whatsoever. What do you do in the game? You can play any of the minigames, there's bus driving, a bit of adventuring, but really, there's nothing of value here. They're all pretentious "more art than game" drivel. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this…

Not optimized for Linux. Even on powerful machines.

Троллейбус душевный. Остальные просто не раскрылись, возможно я что-то упустил
