About Krieg
Built from the ground up for VR, Krieg is a team-based fantasy multiplayer competitive game.
Thrown into the middle of a war between The King's Army and The Ancients, only the strongest will survive. This war of epic mercenaries and guardians will decide the fate of the realm.
A major component unique to Krieg is the various character specific movement abilities. Krieg utilizes 3-dimensional space in a way no other VR competitive multiplayer has before.
Artificial locomotion has the ability to bring the most competitive experience possible for VR only titles. We fully embraced this and understand this might not be for everyone. Because of this Krieg will always have a free demo so there's no risk to try it.
The release only marks the beginning. Our focus is to build a community around the game by taking as much feedback as possible and implementing changes directly suggested from the players. We're confident we have made a very exciting and engaging game as our initial release but we are just as excited for the future to help define what a VR Esport can be.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no available servers and no player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
Krieg is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. The developers abandoned this 7 years and 4 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelli…5 found this helpful

Has potential, but right now its all over the place. The controls are weird and unresponsive, pretty much to the point of being unplayable. This is probably why no one is playing it. There were no active games so me and my buddy played it together just us. After one game we decided we should probably come back in a year.... or two.
