i played this years after i started work as a lathe operator, it was great to get my first safety tutorial!

"Lathe Safety Simulator" is barely a game... it's a basic barebones lathe simulator that allows you to use a lathe in VR. Talk about terrible ideas for a game. At least if you play farm simulator you use a variety of different machines. The game works... but it's just drier than watching dry paint to see if it gets any drier. Feeling dry yet? The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. В остальном, это отличный инструмент для обучения и закрепления знаний о безопасной работе на токарном станке. Рекомендую всем, кто хочет избежать травм и несчастных случаев в реальной жизни.

Finally got my lathe certification! Now I get to work in the workhouse under the culvers, fantastic. If you beat the game you can expect a physical copy of your lathe certification and an email copy. I "lathe" those who haven't gotten one yet!
