[後半に日本語レビューあり]
A Story-Driven Rhythm RPG About Deflecting Enemy Heartbeats
To save his bedridden mother, Hiano Kenji, a young man who gave up his dream of becoming a concert pianist, sets out with Lily, a mysterious vampire, in search of the universal remedy known as the "Golden Apple." This story-focused rhythm RPG naturally connects its premise of fighting enemies through music with a magical piano to VN-style conversations and rhythm battles. The core is a battle system in which you listen to the heartbeat rhythm an enemy plays just before attacking, then reproduce the same intervals to deflect the blow. Rather than falling from top to bottom like conventional charts, notes travel in from both sides, while the judgment line and playing position also move. The flow emphasizes memorizing an enemy's warning and preparing for the next strike instead of simply tracing a song, making the chart itself function as a boss attack pattern. The resulting play feel was quite enjoyable. Story Mode contains seven original tracks, with battles, conversations, and music presented as unified scenes. Speed lines covering the screen, chromatic distortion, shaking backgrounds, and large c…

This game is revolving around piano so it's already a 10/10 in my opinion It has quite a good songlist albeit small and a great story to follow with extraordinary effects to accompany the songs Also, I like Lily :)

PROS Amazing aesthetics, with clean animations, UI and 2-key lane design. Song selection is adequate for a newly released rhythm game (about 20 songs) with varying genres that try to stick to the piano theme. Customisable keybinds and some minor gameplay customisation. The gimmick is deflecting boss attacks by matching the beat shown to you before the sequence begins in a type of QTE event while playing through a song. The story is fine. CONS Can be visual novel heavy at times, so be aware because it's part of the progression and unlock system. Boss battles are only really part of the main story and not part of the arcade/freeplay mode, which is mostly easier and more normal charts. Calibration is manual, so there's a lot of trial and error to set it up, but even when it's set, it feels a little off when playing quick, successive notes and deflecting attacks despite the generous judgement windows. The visuals are aggressive, with a lot of motion, which is the norm and perfectly fine in rhythm games, but not the way it's done here. Having your focal point in motion, while notes are also moving along, trying to obscure upcoming notes, hurts the experience. It looks cool and is synce…

A pleasantly playful rhythm game. It has a not-too-long (3-4h) visual novel story intertwined with unique charts, as well as 21 more tracks (on release). Decent amount of content, and everything feels responsive and polished. The story mode is, surprisingly enough, the highlight of it. The story is a tad whimsical but enjoyable, and despite frequent jokes it still manages to get a good message across. But most importantly, each of the charts you face as part of the campaign introduces new mechanics that make things harder and funkier. While not always something massive (e.g. might just be introducing hold notes to previously added deflect notes) it was always fitting and enjoyable. Good stuff. On the other hand is the practice room, where most of the rhythm action is happening. The songs here are comparatively tame, and most of them are easier than most of the story songs which is... a bit of a shame? The main difficulty of this game isn't about mechanical execution of complex patterns, but about your ability to read them as the notes don't come in pre-assigned lanes so you have to do some mental gymnastics about what button gets pressed when. If you memorize the track the ac…

A fantastic hidden gem for rhythm game fans. The gameplay revolves around playing white and black piano keys while facing off against bosses, where well-timed deflects are just as important as hitting the right notes. It's a simple concept that becomes incredibly satisfying once you get into the flow. The soundtrack is amazing, the original artwork is beautiful, and the whole experience feels polished and full of charm. If you enjoy rhythm games with creative mechanics and great music, Lily Fantasia is an easy recommendation.

semi original mapping scheme, perfect originals next to great licensed songs, really pretty art, story was a little slow and awkward in the beginning but the finale held a deep emotional meaning that spoke to me personally. Shows really promising potential! 15 bucks well spent, Hope to see more great content in the future! (D-D-Dice and Sakuzyo, you two warm my heart deeply with the constant support for smaller rhythm games, keep it up <3)
