About Little Obedient Robot
Play this strange little idea that combines turn-based planning with old-school 2D side-scrolling. I would call this game an experimental strategy game. Build a deck and get a hand of cards. Arrange those cards in the order that you want your little robot to follow. Press play and watch your little obedient robot advance through the stage.
You take control of a little obedient robot that you kind of program with cards you find.
Learn your robot's movement cards by practicing with them. Give them a try and see what each card does. Once you know how to use them you can plan and try to dodge enemies as you make your way to the exit.
You click and drag cards into whatever order you want.
Then when you're ready, hit the play button and watch your robot follow the commands on the cards.
You can add cards to modify your robot's moves.
There are numerous different stages to explore along with dozens of special moves to discover. The game features at least 2+ hours of gameplay.
*Please note that the game may have some bugs as it is a prototype. We'll try to squash anything nasty we come across.

"Little Obedient Robot" is best described as an "experimental" game (which means, not a serious endeavour intended to have value for gamers). The experiment here is, after seeing several thousand garbage indie pixelcrap games fail hard on Steam, whether Steam gamers would enjoy yet another one. The answer, as the data shows, is "no". Isn't science wonderful? What do you do in the game? More seriously, this is a pixelcrap hyrbid platformer and card based programming puzzle game. You build a deck of cards and arrange them in a specific order to program the robot. You drag and drop cards to create the commands. The robot then follows the programmed actions in the level, which then simulates a platformer "experience". Okay, in fairness, such a game could actually work if it was coupled with a high quality technical delivery. "Little Obedient Robot" was not. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. This was boring and frustrating at once. Graphics look great, it would make really good-looking platformer. They should do it instead of this. I don't recommend it.1 found this helpful
