Logout is a third person action/stealth adventure game made with Unreal Engine set in a near-future cyberpunk dystopia. Gameplay consists of wandering around in third person and using your mobile phone to alter the emotions of people around you, crucial to your success in the adventure. It's a viable premise for a game but the implementation here is sorely lacking. Despite the capabilities of the Unreal engine, the game is very badly assembled. Environments look asset flipped. Resolution is locked and there's no graphics tweaks... there's ugly screen filters and motion blur that you can't turn off. The game looks like an ugly, muddy mess as a result. Control scheme is janky and the controls are locked. PC games will understandably be insulted by console peasant childrens toy gamepad prompts, even though this never made it to consoles (because the consoles have quality standards). The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. Silly premise, the entire concept seems not serious and the projection makes it worst. Definitely a language barrier that makes it worst. Clunky mechanics and funny looking movement, further cannot take it serious. music is okay i guess Too little checkpoints and too much text on the screen at the beginning to read all of it. The powers are too strong, you basically just spam that stuff and run through the game. I hate to say it but its just extremely unpolished to the point that its unplayable.

Unfortunately, the premise is better than the game.
