Fun short game with good puzzles and good story

I don't play horror games, but I decided to give this a go. I am not the best at puzzle games; it took me a bit to get through this given how dark the game is and trying to remember where things were. Don't let Valak get you or game over (personal experience lol)! I was not expecting the jump scares and noises to be so effective but they sure got me. The puzzles remind me of what you would find in games like resident evil from the PS1/PS2 days, simple but you still gotta think about it and look for clues (nothing is highlighted or given to you like these newer games usually have for quests). It was suppose to be a short game but for someone not used to this type of game there was a bit of a learning curve. Completing it was fun and a relief; I was always on the edge of my seat wondering if I would get caught and have to start over. Well worth the 5 bucks for this well thought out game. I look forward to the next chapters.

Talk about nostalgia, I feel like I am playing Myst again with a twist of Resident Evil. This game is fun and keeps you interested. Still playing through but so far so good.

I had a lot of fun with this game! My community and I really enjoyed the puzzles + story, had us all super invested and definitely got me a few times with the scares haha. My only recommendation would be to add a little more light to the basement, it's SUPER dark!

Game has potential but overall is just tedious and seemingly... pointless? It is essentially a fetch quest with random loud jumpscares sprinkled throughout. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.
