I'd love to visit a club like that, but what for? So, I should start by saying that this game has absolutely no 18+ content. And if at first I read the story with enthusiasm, then after a couple of hours I realized that I was just getting to grips with this girlish drama and quarrels. The most you'll see is the ladies in swimsuits. I wouldn't say the game is bad. The art is very beautiful, and the plot... kinda average. But a misunderstanding of the NSFW tags ruined the whole experience. I'll give the game a thumbs up for the effort of the creators, but I hope they remove the unnecessary tags from the description.
LuGame : Lunchtime Games Club — Played: 2.5h | Achievements: 10/10 | Steam Deck: Supported

TL;DR: A cute, non-Japanese-looking manga-style harem/romance VN about games, food, and school vibes. No real mature content (swimsuits + mild mentions like alcohol). Easy 100% (10/10) with cards. Overpriced at ~7.99€ — recommend only on a good sale.
Lunchtime Games Club is a light romance VN with a manga-ish art style… but you can tell it’s not Japanese. It has that “indie VN trying to look anime” vibe: colorful, cute, clean enough, but not exceptional. The premise is simple: school life + games + food + hanging out. The cast is pure archetypes, like a checklist of “VN harem tropes”: the nerd, the top student, the student council president, the best friend, the cheerful chubby girl, etc. There’s no real mature content here. I saw some mentions, but in practice it’s very tame: swimsuits at most, a bit of talk about alcohol, nothing explicit. It’s basically safe for everyone (even if some character designs are… generously endowed). Gameplay is VN standard: click, read, make choices, unlock multiple endings. No voice acting, though — which makes it feel a bit mor…2 found this helpful
I loved this game! All routes are great (Stacey is the best girl!), the character designs are nice and cute, and the plot is very refreshing overall. I'd love to play more visual novels like this, 10/10!1 found this helpful

LuGame: Lunchtime Games Club!, developed by UrbanM and Jellyfish Parade and published by Urban Meadows, is a lighthearted visual novel that leans heavily into character-driven storytelling and romantic comedy. Set within a school environment, it uses the framework of a struggling “games club” as a narrative excuse to bring together a small cast of distinct personalities, each with their own quirks and emotional arcs. Rather than focusing on gameplay complexity, the experience is built almost entirely around dialogue, interactions, and branching character routes, making it a straightforward but comfortable entry in the genre. The story unfolds through a series of casual, often humorous encounters as the protagonist becomes involved with the club and its members. While the premise suggests a focus on gaming, the narrative quickly shifts toward interpersonal dynamics, with most scenes centered on conversations, misunderstandings, and the gradual development of relationships. The tone remains consistently relaxed, mixing comedic exchanges with occasional moments of sincerity. It doesn’t attempt to deliver a deeply intricate plot, but instead prioritizes a sense of familiarity and char…
It feels like a drag and an incomplete game, as other people mentioned. But I got some 3 hours of "entertainment", with a frustrating "popcorn pop" level ending. As I end the game, I feel not compelled to try the alternative routes.
