About Mana Cycle

Introducing Mana Cycle, the ultimate puzzle party game experience! Dive into a digital world of strategic block-dropping madness where strategy and reflexes collide. Mana Cycle offers a fresh twist on the classic falling block puzzle genre, combining elements of Tetris and Puyo-Puyo with its own unique mechanics.
This game introduces the "Cycle" mechanic, presenting players with an order that the pieces must be cleared ("spellcasted") in. Strategize your moves carefully as you clear pieces according to the ever-rotating cycle in the center of the screen. Features 7 playable characters, each with unique abilities.

Settle into a variety of engaging game modes:
-Story Mode, where you embark on a journey through puzzle-filled landscapes.
-Challenge your limits in the Endless gamemode, dropping pieces for as long as you can.
-Test your skills in the Arcade mode against a continuous onslaught of opponents.
-Brave the unpredictable depths of the roguelite-inspired Gauntlet gamemode.
-Hone your PvP skills against challenging AI opponents in local Player vs. CPU versus matches.
-Challenge your friends in local multiplayer, either via the same keyboard or via controllers.

Prepare for the ultimate puzzle showdown with Mana Cycle. Are you ready to master the art of the cycle?

The game's concept is well thought-out, especially for having been published less than a year ago. Although the annoying crow has a point about the first few levels being slow, they get decently challenging by Level 7. The story's cast is quite entertaining, even as early in the story as I am, while still being believable enough to be relatable. You don't need consistently reminded the main characters are students: you can tell from the special sort of unhinged their conversations end up being (such as how drinking virtual-reality soda would work under deep-dive immersion). I have yet to explore any non-story modes, but from what I've played, I expect them to be quite fun as well. Even though they will lack the amusing dialogue (and as such, the mentioning of things like Electric Chicken Mech Man), I figure they'll make up for it in their inventive takes on the base gameplay. Even the characters not present in the story fit the game's design, while being distinct enough to add to the replay factor. I can hardly wait to try the Arena modes as the Slay Yourself dude. All in all, it's an amazing entry into the world of falling-block puzzles, and the title mechanic even offers an innov…

"Mana Cycle" is a very badly made Early Access hybrid E-book and Tetris ripoff, so I guess the most interesting part about this is waiting to see if The Tetris Company LLC will once more step in and take legal action to enforce their copyright over Tetris, which the developer is unabashedly infringing on here. It's true, check out Tetris Holdings LLC vs Xio Interactive, District of New Jersey 2012. Guess who won? There's a weird bunch of fake reviews for the game from brand new accounts that only ever reviewed this game, which of course is highly sus... remember that from the new FTC regulations of review manipulation, fake reviews are now a federal crime. Oops. This has some really awful looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. The drawings (I won't misuse the word "illustration" here) are nightmarishly bad, actually physically unpleasant to look at. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's coupled with…

This game is the bee's knees. I'm buzzed out the hive after playing it. I did a short dance to convey my enjoyment to all the fellows in black and yellow.
