"Maneuver" is a free kind of tech demo tier game where you engage in combat in a minimalist/low poly/neon type environment. The gimmick is that you can "hack" others and take them over which helps you fight... seriously, just play Watch Dogs or something if you want a hackerish game experience. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal …

Really cool game! Especially considering it's free! Bit of criticism though : - Blue enemies on blue floor/background is meh. - During "arena" / survive fights, I think the waves of enemies are too patched-up. Id space out the waves of enemies, have the AI spread out a bit more or IDK. But it felt a bit like running backwards and slashing mindlessly. - The combat needs to be a bit more fluid. I almost never blocked attacks with the sword because I was in the slashing animation, I wish I could cancel an attack to go into defence mode. But then we come in another problem which is swarming and blocking 30 units would end up in a loop, where as slashing 5 of them off makes life easier. - We should be able to throw shuriken while blocking or have less cool-down after attack to be able to throw it. It felt MLG PRO play limiting. Taking time while being rushed and swarm to body hist an enemy probably in the swarm is just delaying the problem. With a bit more fluid combat system, less enemies but new and bigger units. This game would be perfect! Otherwise nice music, nice aesthetics, combat and levels are still quite enjoyable. It's free! Thanks a lot for making this!

Overall decent game the movement feels decent but making it slightly faster and the sword anticipation be slightly less would be great 7/10.

Neat, and I don't usually like this kind of game.
