About Memory Illusions
Notice : Memory Illusions is designed to support VR headsets with newer controllers. Currently we only support Index, Rift S, and Quest 2 via WIFI/Link Cable. We currently have not tested with any Windows Mixed Reality sets or others and can not guarantee they will work.

Memory Illusions is a single player VR looter shooter featuring realistic weapons, upgrades, attachments, randomize options, and player progression in fast paced action environments.

Most of all Memory Illusions is about gun play and choice. Where you play and how you play will be defined by you. The weapons have realistic weapons actions including realistic reloading, spread, recoil, bullet penetration and fire rate.

You can choose between levels; a kill house and story based wave levels including a dinosaur island, apocalypse zombies, aliens and a castle in Poland.

Warnings:
- Strobe effects and loud Audio effects are in use throughout this title. Muzzle flashes, flash lights, flash bangs and more can cause flashing and strobing lights in many of our levels. If you are sensitive to these affects you should not play this title.
- Designed for higher end machines so we can push the graphics and overall look of Memory Illusions. There are several different options to reduce the quality. We start the game on a medium setting. If you have the hardware turn it up!
- Designed for VR headsets with newer controllers (Rift S, Quest 2 (WIFI/Link Cable), Index). While the vive wand is supported you won’t have all of the same functionality due to the limited inputs.
- Not currently testing on WMR headsets and so we don't currently list it as supported.
- No teleportation
- There are some situations that can make some players very motion sick. We have included several options you can affect to try and alleviate this such as tunneling and speed reductions.
- This is an always online title as we are working towards a friends only co-op multiplayer option we only want to design, develop and maintain one set of instructions for the player.

The performance is pretty bad and there is some problems with the controllers. It basically impossible to use the gun with two hands because the grip sensors are to far apart. The tutorial voice is so low you can barely hear it. The game is a wave shooter and and the sounds from the monsters are not orientated so I can not tell where they are its just a constant sound regardless of position.8 found this helpful
First thing first: Yes, I received a review copy of Memory Illusions from the developers for free. That being said, I will remain fair and unbiased in my review. Do I recommend Memory Illusions? Yes. Is it a complete product at this time? No. It's in early access and being developed by a very small team. Despite being a small team, they are receptive to feedback, constantly adding new fixes and polish, and dedicated to presenting a quality product. VR is an interesting frontier for gaming. It has generations of gaming styles and mechanics that developers can draw from to explore from a new perspective. Until Memory Illusions, I had not yet seen a looter/shooter horror game attempted in VR, and upon initially hearing about it, I was quite excited, thinking back to the looter/shooter games I have played in the past where over the course of a few hours I could transform my weak avatar into a living god. My initial reactions to Memory Illusions were not great. I had built up this idea of what I was going to experience only to find an unrefined experience that left me bumbling about in the dark while shambling hordes glitched into the floors. Looking like another abandoned early access game. Do not buy.
