About Mine It Down
Mine It Down is an incremental game about mining an evil wall inspired by other games like (the) Gnorp Apologue and Tower Wizard. Chip away at the wall with the mouse first, hire masons to work that rock and build different buildings to grow your rock-destroying arsenal. Do whatever it takes to Mine It Down!

When you fly your inspiration flag proudly, you tend to doom yourself unless you end up making a better product, and (The) Gnorp Apologue is very very difficult to beat. Mine It Down is not a better product. It's amateurish, and not in a mean way, but in a "yeah this is definitely somebody's first project that they put out because they wanted to make one project before they can push on to greater things." I get it, I really do, but I also think it rather brave to put a $4 price tag on something like that, especially when the aforementioned Apologue is both higher-quality and has a LOT more content at only $7. Truthfully, I would've hard recommended against it before, but good old Topito Games added music (WOW!!!) in an update a couple days after I finished the game, so I figured I'd finish out the rest of the achievements, and the music makes it feel a lot better. I still have plenty of issues with presentation, lack of explanation for basically everything, strange design decisions (why do some numbers round to the nearest thousandth?), and the other certain aspects, but I enjoy the incremental genre, and the game as a whole is interesting enough that it's worth $4 and three (3) a…4 found this helpful

Extremely poor gnorplike. Too short with a grand total of 9 prestige upgrades all having 1 level. i didn't even need one of them to win. The UI is bad. It crashes every time you prestige. This might have been intentional as part of the design, if so that's even WORSE than a crash as it means the devs are being deliberatley annoying and wasting your time. Not remotely worth paying money for at any price.1 found this helpful
