Pros: +Some diversity in models +It's got a variety of game modes +Customizable models from foundation to eyebrow shape +Tons of options when creating clothes, down to the textures, designs, and colors +It doesn't always crash.. Cons: -Everything not listed in Pros; gameplay, UI, graphics, audio, literally everything else. -For some reason you can't give models black hair? The only hair colors availble are blue, blonde, brown, purple, and red.. wtf? -Crashes/freezes fairly often If you want a fun game based on fashion, photography, and runways with good graphics and great gameplay, I highly recommened Jojo's Fashionshow 1 and 2 If you want a fun game based on creating clothes for runways I recommend Barbie Fashion Show for the PC This game is neither of the above and is incredibly underwhelming. I could not look past its horrendous fashion, outdated graphics, tons of unappealings options, no tutorial, and completely abhorrent UI.13 found this helpful
Easily the best game on Steam.10 found this helpful
Clothing (also known as clothes and attire) is a collective term for garments, items worn on the body. Clothing can be made of textiles, animal skin, or other thin sheets of materials put together. The wearing of clothing was invented following the release of Mission Runway (2008).7 found this helpful
This game crashes when you see the judges about half the time. Bad game.6 found this helpful
Tags: Tycoon&Simulator&Sim&City Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Half broken, looks like a homebrewed low framerate early 3D characters rendered and then crashes to desktop. Everything is in dead silence. My game was not muted - i went into settings and checked. I could not play long but from what I have seen this is firmly targeted at pre adolescent girls, and featured an assortment of uninteresting scenarios. The user interface is full of massive empty text bubbles and feels like it clutters view without offering anything. The quality, if it had sound and did not crash, would situate this at shovelware quality, the kind you would find bundled in for free with a magazine or something some odd decade ago. Seems to be a very uninteractive the sims based on instances with pre scripted scenarios.1 found this helpful
Mission Runway is a business/runway simulator where you play the role of fashion designer, arrange outfits for models and then set them on their way. This is a very old game, it's 2008 but feels more like 1998. Fixed 4:3 aspect ratio on a low res game badly upscaled to whatever resolution you choose. It's buggy, too. It does remind me of the fine days before "indie" developers stole the godawful software guarantee from terrible publishers like Valusoft. If you really want to play this kind of game, you're probably going to be better off with The Sims and some of the fashion orientated addons for that.
