自小在小言小黄书中摸爬滚打长大的女主——司马丽苏，一直将大师兄兼表哥吴有为视为人生中“天作之合”的官配。
可是在她厚脸皮去表白时，却晴天遭到霹雳——
有为表哥要结婚了，新娘就明显不是她。
气在头上的司马丽苏，在婚礼上对有为表哥“小惩大诫”一翻，而后便潜逃下山。
在逃亡的路上，女主似乎跌入了某著名连锁店的中奖陷阱之中。
是不是陷阱还不清楚。

[h1] This is a sweet free Chinese Otome VN from the same developers who made Soulslayer. [/h1] [b]I've not delved in that much into it yet so this review will be more of a first impression for now till I read more of the game & update the review later.[/b] So far, this game seems to be more on the wholesome lighthearted side which I personally appreciate when reading this sort of VNs. Like Soulslayer, its manhua like artstyle is rather distinct with a bit of lovely edge to it. However, unlike Soulslayer, this VN sadly has no English translation so I've been translating it using DeepL & Google Lens & admittedly that has been a bit of a slog. Unfortunately, Rei patcher MTL didn't do it for me when I tried it with this game either. While this VN does have a heartwarming vibe & is somewhat engaging, I still find it nowhere as engaging as Soulslayer specially interms of the drama hook but this could also be due to the genre difference since Soulslayer is a detective VN with more of a roguelite feel to it. This one feels more like a standard VN experience rather than a hybrid VN. However, this is just a minor nitpick from me & this game is still good value & not a paid game like …1 found this helpful

Mr. Rightaway is a lighthearted otome game with a fun, quirky premise and a cast of charming characters. The story doesn’t take itself too seriously, which makes it an easy and enjoyable experience for players who just want something sweet and casual. The humor works well most of the time, and the character designs are cute and expressive. That said, the story feels a bit short and lacks emotional depth. Some routes end just when things start getting interesting, and the romance development can feel rushed. The dialogue can also be uneven, shifting between witty and awkward. Still, if you’re looking for a quick, feel-good dating sim with fun personalities and a light tone, Mr. Rightaway delivers a pleasant time without demanding too much from the player. Rating: 7.5/10
