If you don't uninstall this game within the first 15 minutes, you'll be stuck playing it until you finish. I don't like leaving games unbeaten, but I came close to uninstalling many times. I'm very thankful this developer is making games and I hope they continue to make games and continue to grow as a game developer. I will gladly purchase future games that they develop. There is no menu and no way to understand the HUD. It is explained a little bit, or maybe I misunderstood, but it was definitely frustrating. It does have some glitches. Autosave is featured, but I couldn't tell if it worked until I quit the game opened it again. There is no quit button since there is no menu. You just have to window key out to and close manually. There is an essence you can purchase that makes levels easier and it WILL be needed as you play the game. As you die the game gets more difficult to the point where I honestly believe it's impossible, unless you purchase the essence that makes levels easier. The icons at the bottom add up in value meaning the levels will be harder. When you purchase the essence that makes levels easier, you'll see that number decline. I had to uninstall this game to try again at actually getting past the first level. Really. No main menu, autosaves only. First level has a mechanic where if you fail, the enemies grow stronger and more numerous. I get the intention; make death feel meaningful, but it meant that if the game was hard to begin with, it gets impossible after a death or two. I had no way to start a new game and get normal-difficulty enemies except by completely uninstalling the game to delete the save. I'll try again. I'm waiting for it to finish downloading now. Maybe my review will change if I can get to the second level this time. EDIT: Uninstalling the game doesn't help, it cloud saves the data. I'm literally barred from playing. Going for a refund.
