Idk I think people are being too harsh on a free visual novel. It's alright. Silly, sure, but definitely alright. Thank you for making and publishing this. I think it's neat.

They got some moments where there was no background or characters on screen text, and I don't know if it was made intentionally, but it doesn't feel intentional when it happens. And the CG Gallery is broken, excepeted the first one none get unlocked. This game that makes me realize that by consuming VN so much, I’m becoming more and more demanding about this type of game. I don’t know if I’m really objective here, so :/ So in view of everything the story is clanky in some aspect and would have needed more finishing. - Maybe a day back to work, it’s a free game with improvement in the storytelling, it could get gretter - too much question and inconsistency right at the start : Why does the protagonist react like this? The fact that he has a bully and doesn’t take extra precautions? He begins his investigation into a killer, starts to have suspicions about his boss and reveals these suspicions to him from the start. Why? Why? The impression that the character of Oliver, who unconsciously wishes to shout at the vampire during his investigation and his meeting with Oscar, even before knowing that vampires could exist. "My Boss Is Scaring Me" isn't a game, it's a cringey non-game high school anime club dropout fan-fiction that's been dumped on Steam into the games section. As a visual novel, it doesn't have any gameplay. It's just a lot of clicking through bad, cringe dialogue that no real publisher would ever accept. When people can't get their work published in print, they pay the $100 fee to dump their fan-fiction here instead, where we have to put up with it when looking for things that are actual PC games. This is pure weaponised cringe, and also an asset flip as the "author" ripped off all the backgrounds from stock art included with the VN construction kit he used to write this complete garbage high school anime club dropout fan-fiction. The plot? This is an LGBTQIA+ friendly high school anime club fan-fiction where the author writes extensively about his relationship with his imaginary boyfriend, who is a big long haired goth man. It's cringey enough to make you throw up, like every other garbage non-game e-book fan-fiction infesting the "Games" section of Steam. Visual novels are tedious at best.
