New Star Soccer 5 is a game that challenges your mechanics as much as your tactics. The controls are incredibly simple—you just move directionally and press one key—but the gameplay loop relies heavily on your own skill. You have to master the mechanics to curve the ball and place shots with precision to outplay opponents. It’s a rewarding progression from a rookie to a superstar, complete with managing your life off the pitch. That being said, the experience isn't perfect. The constant errors can be a major pain and really break your flow. However, there is a silver lining: the game saves often enough that you rarely lose significant progress. You crash, you reload, and you carry on from exactly where you were. It’s a game that requires resilience—both in your football skills and in dealing with the occasional glitch.

This game is fun but frustrating. For example there's a happiness rating thats affected by how much money you spend on items and property and of course you start the game poor so your character will develop blue balls and when you get in front of goal he won't shoot it's annoying. Its an actual part of the game btw I'm not making it up there's a 🥶 that pops up and your character won't shoot it's annoying. Also the AI just shoots from anywhere and the slide tackle animation takes like 3 seconds to recover from. Its still pretty fun

The game itself is fine, but what the actual hell is this, everytime I score a goal for my club the game crashes right after the match ends and it doesn't save it; so I have to re-do the game where I scored. Actual stupidity, ruins the experience singlehandedly.

Loved the mobile version more, had so much fun. This version seems impossible to play. Controls are way too weird.
