✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the platformer's challenging design and innovative checkpoint-purchasing system, but many struggle with the character's momentum and controls feeling unwieldy and inconsistent across different situations. While some enjoy the difficulty spikes and core gameplay concept, others find that the control mechanics make the game frustratingly difficult in ways that feel unfair rather than skill-based.

nice platformer with some good challenges. there are weird difficulty spikes sometimes but the idea with buying the checkpoints is really cool.

I gave this game a try because i enjoy hard platformers, but this really was not it. Your character feels nigh impossible to control - you move very very fast, but if youre in the air, you dont stop moving the moment you stop holding a direction, so you have to constantly cancel out your momentum to stop, but if you dont do it perfectly you suddenly fly in the other direction. If you're on the ground, you can inch forward by tapping the direction, but the moment you go off a platform youre suddenly launched off at air speeds. When you stick to a wall, you cant get off by holding the opposite direction, unless a certain amount of time has passed because then you instantly fall off. I was struggling so much to control myself that I felt the difficulty of the game came almost entirely from controlling my character, rather than the obstacles, which is a shame because I really liked some of the systems in the game - like having to buy checkpoints by rationing your coins, or the boxes that you can only pass through from a certain direction.
