✦ AI summary

Players enjoy this football management sim for its accessibility, charming aesthetic, and the satisfying progression of building a team from lower divisions, with particular praise for the developers' ongoing support. However, common frustrations include confusing match mechanics that seem disconnected from stated statistics, overly complex menu navigation, insufficient tutorial explanations, and the feeling that player choices don't meaningfully impact outcomes due to heavy reliance on randomness and unexplained systems like formation impacts and stamina mechanics.

Played about 5 seasons thus far - really incredible game. Ignore anyone who says the game is grindy - whole point of the game is to take a division 4 team and help them reach the top. Beginning of the game is hard, you'll be losing most of the games you play. But the more you play, the better cards you get for your matches, the more money you'll have to buy players, the more your players will develop... This is just the sports game I needed. To hell with 2K and the yearly FIFA releases, this is where we at.

Very enjoyable game and highly addictive. This feels like a more relaxed fm, obviously being different games. I get similar enjoyment managing my team, managing finances and slowly building youth talent. The start of the game is veryy rough, I got smashed for 2 seasons, then I managed to pretty much go on and win the league. When you get promoted it is a big jump, and I have been relegated a couple of times, just after getting promoted. So try and hang on to your first season up by parking the bus lol. I am 10 or so seasons in and finally reached d1 using halifax, I do wish I could have chosen whatever d4 team from the start of the game, so that's a slight annoyance and I think that is echoed by some other folks here. Other than those two little pain points, thoroughly enjoyable game, I am not sure how much more I will sink in once I win d1.
