About On A Roll 3D

On A Roll 3D

Roll your way through 24 huge levels across six different themes in this fast, colourful 3D platform game.

Be prepared to take on spikes, mines, dynamite, conveyor belts, springs, switches, doors, bumpers, lasers, saws, fire, ice, water, electricity, trapdoors and much much more. Each level has three areas you must navigate your way through, battling a host of enemies along the way, then a fourth and final area where you must take on one of the six end-of-level bosses! Grab the protective stars as you go and keep an eye out for the many hidden bonuses to help you on your way.On A Roll 3D is a classic platformer that mixes the regular 2D format with a 3D twist as many of the platforms cross in front of each other. There are plenty of puzzles thrown in that combine realistic physics and logical reasoning with switches, levers and pushable blocks required to open doors and trapdoors, and to reach otherwise inaccessible places.

On A Roll 3D is an immensely fun and very challenging retro platform game!

On a Roll 3D is actually a 2.5d platformer where the ball only moves horizontally, on a 2d plane; it's the levels that are 3d and often rotate around. This is not anything like Marble Madness or Super Monkey Ball. It's closer to a 2d Sonic game with much less speed, much fewer enemies and more puzzles. The game runs and controls well. Graphics are good. Pleasant music. Interesting course designs. Good variety of obstacles. There are enemies and bosses but they are few and secondary. Always balls of different colors, sometimes with spikes. The bosses in particular are lame, just being bigger versions of smaller enemies. The challenge comes in navigating the terrain. It's far from a precision platformer, though, and the difficulty is somewhat low with plenty of checkpoints. What I found the toughest was when left and right were reversed in the last levels. I could have done without that.

one of my favorite games ever, definitely worth buying considering the price. Challenging yourself to 100% levels is very addicting and great for when you feel bored. DLC is also very worth it, as the levels in it are nothing short of fantastic and in my opinion, way better/longer than the regular levels.

While the premise may seem simple, the game gradually expands its mechanics through creative level design, environmental hazards, puzzles, and boss encounters, creating a surprisingly engaging adventure that rewards precision, patience, and careful control. The game's foundation is built on momentum-driven movement. Players control a ball that must navigate suspended platforms, dangerous traps, moving mechanisms, and intricate pathways while avoiding falls and other hazards. The controls are easy to understand, making the game accessible from the very beginning, but true mastery requires learning how momentum, speed, and terrain interact. Small adjustments often determine success or failure, and the constant need for careful movement keeps players focused throughout the experience. One of the game's most appealing qualities is its progression structure. Levels are organized into multiple themed worlds that gradually introduce new mechanics and obsta…
