This is quite a good game.

Parkour Chief: Chapter Secret Agent is a fun little action game that immediately caught my attention because it combines parkour, stealth and shooting instead of focusing on just one style of gameplay. I play as a secret agent trying to infiltrate CyberQuark and recover a stolen advanced CPU before it can be used to create destructive AI robots. I liked the straightforward spy movie setup because it gives the action a clear goal. The parkour is my favorite part of the gameplay. Moving through the environment feels more interesting when I am not simply walking from one room to another. I have to navigate obstacles while keeping an eye on where enemies are positioned, and the movement gives the levels a little more energy than a basic third person shooter would have. Stealth is another important part of the experience. I can try to avoid enemies rather than immediately opening fire, which gives me some freedom in how I approach different situations. I enjoyed having that choice because it makes the game feel a little more like an infiltration mission. "Parkour Chief: Chapter Secret Agent" is an incredibly lame looking (probably) asset flipped third person platformer shooter... was this meant to be a tech demo or a student project or something? I mean, by all means, amateur developers, horse around with code on the weekend all you like, but does it have to be published on Steam? If you really need to burn $100, I can think of better ways to do it than Steam Direct. What do you do in the game? Well, it's a clunky platformer shooter mess.. laughably bad, in fact. So the first thing you'll do when you start the game is close it and uninstall it. Even though some of the assets/game engine bits are probably flipped, this still looks terrible. Gaming is a visual medium... developers should at least try instead of just publishing stuff that looks like this. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game.
