I could easily make a "makes me wet" joke, and that would be hilarious But I will say it's a fun, chaotic little game and I'm someone who doesn't normally care a ton about shoot 'em up's1 found this helpful
some of the sonic mania team worked on this and that's basically all you need to know. absolutely kickass shoot em up that looks great and sounds great, get it, it's literally 5 bucks1 found this helpful
a bad 80s shoot em up with bullet sponge enemies and cheap difficulty. kind of ugly in parts, with claustrophobic level design that's tough to even tell where you can and can't go at first glance. a genuinely annoying upgrade system where being on a checkpoint and having to upgrade just puts you in a bad place than if you were able to get to the checkpoint with level 3 shooting. competently designed game for the most part, sure but it's nothing special and i'm forcing myself to finish it. thanks guys. we definitely needed another one of these from the thousands of shoot em ups out there. don't bother. especially if you don't normally play shoot em ups.
Idk what's up with the code but this game now runs unplayable fast fps wise on up to date models, not to mention the choppy glitches in the music. sucks because i was really looking forward to playing this but had to refund it simply because of how broken in it's current state it is
I really enjoyed this game! The art direction is really cute looking and I'm always a sucker for pixel styles. The gameplay and mechanics are fun and in-depth while never being too much to handle (if you're playing on a controller like I did). There's only two problems I can say brings this game down, the short length being only 4 levels long and the high difficulty that follows even on the normal difficulty. Overall, this is a fun time that is worth the cheap price if you're a 2D spaceship shooter type games fan and I'm sad that this game isn't known very well despite being made by Headcannon of Sonic Mania fame. 4.5/5!
