Despite being a hidden object game built with the familiar “Find 100 cute animals” formula, Pomelo & Friends: Sevilla distinguishes itself from its peers through its incredibly detailed art style reminiscent of “Where's Waldo?” games. Each level is packed with crowds of people, all featuring unique traits and facial expressions that make the scenes feel lively and distinct. The dogs are masterfully hidden among them, either tucked into coats or partially obscured by other people, and only rarely hiding in plain sight. This encourages close inspection of the scenes, even in their smallest details. Since some dogs appear quite tiny, a zoom tool is available to help with the search. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3647509267 The game features five levels tailored around famous tourist attractions in the Spanish capital. Each of them tasks you with finding 20 dogs together with Pomelo (the star of the show) and a few other extra elements. These include a unique animal per level that produces funny sounds when clicked, as well as the mandatory cat (because, of course, cats insist on making themselves known, especially in a dog game). https://steamcommuni…17 found this helpful
Great illustrations, great music, great dogs, nice and fluffy! It stands out as a "good ol' human nerd" creation, zero A.I! The best: Funny little backstory for every pup! The worst: I want some of these beautiful scenes as physical artwork on my walls, and I don't have any. :( And also, as a Sevilla resident, I don't see how I'm gonna walk around these places without looking for pups everywhere xD (Actually... I was... kind of already doing it xD)3 found this helpful
