What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Pot Farmer is a very basic clicker game where players grow plants, harvest them, and use profits to buy upgrades, with most content exhausted within a couple of hours. While some players enjoy it as a mindless idle game with easy achievements and leaderboard competition, others criticize it for having virtually no depth, variety, or meaningful features beyond the core clicking loop. Players consistently suggest the game would benefit from additional content like farms, bakeries, or other expansions to make it feel like a more complete experience.
i had drank, played mindlessly and am #1 on board as of date 1/3/1033 2hrs played ha play i. hope for more updates Edited on 1/14/1033 - Sorry I'm not sugar coating, but I want to keep it nice and as constructive as I can. I saw an update for this game today. Seems like its only a leveling system. I can go into more detail. But here is a summarized list of things I think need improvement before I could enjoy this game. I enjoyed the competitive aspect of climbing the list of top players with the highest score, that is what kept me. The art hurts my eyes. It need some form and style to its big personality. The plants need more than just some five year old throwing skittles on the leaves every upgrade. The plant pots only change color slightly every upgrade and I can not even pick which one or style it how I like. Although I think a more soft and cozy feel would help my eyes as I stare at it for 2.4 hours. The music was muted within a minute. It repeats. and is too busy for a hold two buttons and drag my mouse across my desk for 2 hours type of game. Maybe I just want to chill and relax instead of fighting WW3 by making skittle saplings. It was more repetitive than the game …4 found this helpful
Simple clicker... got number 1 in leaderboards. Could have more features.
Edit:
Decided to look through my reviews and rediscovered this and thought I'd play the game again to see if anyone had beaten my high score. Upon looking at the leaderboards... 9th I had indeed been overtaken!
It was time to reclaim my title!
I got back into the swing of auto-clicking and going through the motions; growing 'erb, gettin' money. After what seemed like an eternity, I surpassed 8th place. "I have this in the bag" I thought to myself, and decided not to upload my score until I had achieved victory. This would come to be a decision I would later regret.
Sisyphus rolling back down the hill wasn't in my bingo card
Getting back to the laborious task of getting money and reclaiming my rightful place at number one, again, another milestone was crossed. 7th place was mine. Then came 6th, 5th, 4th, and finally 3rd. I looked once more at the leaderboard and found myself filled with hubris and charging toward victory. I only had to beat two billion, one hundred and forty-five million, three hundred and ninety-nine th…3 found this helpful
Basic clicker game about potting pot in pots. Easy hundred percent achievement game, as well as mildly enjoyable idler with an auto clicker if left running while doing other stuff. Paid fort-nine cents, killed about eight hours. Would suggest even at ninety-nince cents US for a casual player.3 found this helpful
Cute, simple clicker game.2 found this helpful
It's a pretty fun little clicker/idle game not really too much to do within the game but you can grow 30+ pots of weed. 10 versions with multiple pot upgrades to make you're plants grow faster. You can also get on the leaderboard pretty easily if you just save money, and you get a free in-game auto clicker for those who don't have one!1 found this helpful
Pot Farmer really captures the thrilling, action-packed life of growing weed... if your idea of excitement is clicking the same button 10,000 times while your soul slowly evaporates. It’s a clicker, and not even a clever one. You water, you harvest, you upgrade, you wonder what you’re doing with your life, then you click some more. There's no depth, no surprises, just a lot of "wow, can't wait to buy slightly faster watering can." If you enjoy games that play themselves while you reconsider your hobby choices, this one’s for you. Otherwise, maybe just grow a real plant - at least that won't judge you for your time management.
