About Pudding Fantasy: Tales of Go and Magic

Story

The legendary staff "Honin Rod" that sealed away the Demon King.
However, due to the deterioration of the staff, the seal that lasted for many years has been broken.
The Demon King has been resurrected, and monsters known as "Gomono" have appeared, plunging the kingdom into chaos.Yet, the king is indifferent to the suffering of his people!
As long as he can eat his beloved pudding, he's satisfied and shows no intention of dealing with the Demon King or the Gomono. But then, all the pudding in the kingdom was stolen by the Demon King!
The king, who didn't care about the people's suffering, is now furious because he can't eat his favorite pudding. He orders a search for the descendant of the Hero of Light who once sealed away the Demon King.
However, since he announced a reward for defeating the Demon King, countless people claiming to be descendants of the Hero of Light swarm the kingdom. He promises to pay a reward to whoever defeats the Demon King first. The protagonist, Buchi, faces a financial crisis because his father's pudding factory had its ingredients stolen by the Demon King.
To save his family's finances (albeit reluctantly), he sets out on a journey to defeat the Demon King.
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"Pudding Fantasy: Tales of Go and Magic" is a poorly made bunch of AI slop and some "Go" minigames. There's a surprising amount of content for an amateur game, but presumably most of it is vibe coded and AI slop. This looks and feels like a garbage GPT LLM disaster, which would explain why it failed on Steam Direct. Nobody likes AI slop. What do you do in the game? Wade through AI slop, do basic RPG stuff, click through badly written GPT slop, play some "Go" minigames, uninstall because you deserve better than AI slop. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this never made it to the video game console app…

It's cute, it's free, and we could really use some more American Go players. If you have even a passing interest in Go, download this game and give it a try. I'm not a beginner player, so I can't say how easy it is for a completely new player to pick up on the tutorials. However, to me, it seems pretty slow and simple, and it has a review function so if you don't understand why something isn't working, after a battle, it can show you.
