It works I guess? There's nothing here I would call fun or a challenge. I kept expecting something to change, to improve, but nothing happens.1 found this helpful
Game isnt worth the time, your really just clicking buttons, almost infinite room for error. only on the last level did i even come close to dying, but it almost felt planned like i was never gonna die there. I dont really see the vision here. Also it seemed like the games fps capped out at like 151 found this helpful
A push-your-luck, route optimization game that's far too easy, simplistic, and shallow to merit a second play.
"Pumpkin's Revenge" might as well have been a mobile/browser game, with a static 2D hex map making up most of the playing area... frankly the whole thing could have been done in Adobe Flash. This comes across more as a tech demo or something. What do you do in the game? It's a simple and limited game where you move upwards through a selection of randomly dropped hex tiles.. you have to use your imagination and pretend it's a dungeon, I guess. Anyway each move could give you some nice pickup or get you whacked by adjacent threats, so choose carefully.... to not play glorified mobile apps on Steam. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements …
It's definitely an unfinished game, gold doesn't do anything and there isn't really a shop. Content is kind of just missing. However I do like the game play, and hexagons are the bestagons.
