Red Cap Zombie Hunter

This is less of a review and more a list of observations that ANY IDIOT can make about a game. Hence any idiot can make these observations, let me be the first idiot to put them in a list. TL;DR: This game is MASSIVELY overpriced for a 2D Sidescrolling platform adventure WITHOUT all the flaw it has. If this game was perfect in what it was trying to achieve, it would still not be worth this much. Haven't played many 2d scroll games, so can't compare to any really. Red Cap Zombie Hunter came as a very challenging for a first level which usually is "get to know" mechanics in most of the games - which I do believe is a right path. It took me 40 minutes to pass 1st level that is no longer than 4-5 minutes, and I consider myself above average gamer. While it was fun in the very beginning (matching music vibe, acceptable background, colors), it didn't take long to notice there is something wrong with jumping mechanics, The hunter seem to get stuck on/in objects if timing or place of jump spot was "incorrect". That ruined fun very quickly. + - Music - Game tempo - Weapon variety, sadly taking new weapon overrides your current one, instead of adding to inventory or smh - - Clunky controls - UI errors on 21:9 aspect - Current game price - Other bugs: jumping issue, health bottle disappearing after getting shot (not sure it was intended to be so) In the end, I think The game should be either at a lower price for what it is now or it has to be tweaked and fixed.

The potential for a great and fun little indie game is there but it needs the work. The jump physics in this game are shockingly terrible and as a gamer with 30 years experience of platformers, not being able to get past the first level because of this one huge flaw means the game as already been uninstalled. Its not worth nearly £12 and whilst I got this game free to review - I urge you not to waste your money until the issues are fixed.
