Fun little dungeon crawler, it's not very wow or anything, pretty simplistic. I haven't really played co-op so it'd probably be better played that way, what do I know? The colors are vibrant and graphics are simple but satisfying to look at, the story is pretty cliche but it was nice to follow along. A little overpriced though for what it is.1 found this helpful
Its a fun comedy adventure fighting retro style game, with funny jokes like "bomb girl" and funny looking characters, i can be an eggplant! It is hard so if you do not like hard game's this is not for you, but if you like comedy adventure fighting retro style games, than this is for you! in personal experience i do love the secret areas and climbing up water and the skins, but you can find out for yourself if you like it! [h1]Baby's First ARPG (Affectionate)[/h1] [i]Riverbond[/i] may not be a very complex game, or a very difficult game, or a very good-looking game; its objectives may be simple, its character designs might be cheap references to other games, its bosses may be ugly, its combat might be easy, its weapons might be mostly worse than the sword and blaster you start with. But y'know what? If you've got kids, and you want to introduce your kids to murking mooks in a couch-coop isometric format, or if you just want to blow off steam for a few hours murking those mooks yourself, this game's got you. The writing is better than it has any right to be, the levels are... there, the enemies are... there, and the combat is... there. If you've seen the gameplay trailer, and you're thinking "it looks fine, but are there any massive problems with it?" The answer is no. It looks fine because it [i]is[/i] fine. You will play this game and be thoroughly whelmed. You and up to three of your friends and family members! Solid recommendation. If you play it, it might not be the best game you'll play this year or even this month, but by golly, it will be one of the games you've played.
