This is a very soft yes review because of how unpolished the game is 2 weeks now after its release. If this is how basic this game is meant to really be, then it's worth closer to $2 and not $5. Riverside Of Dice is an extremely bare-bones and basic Yahtzee style dice combat game. This is not an Early Access game, so this must be as simple as it's intended to be... There's no storyline in-game besides what we're told on the store page description. Which is fine, but there's also no changing scenes or special graphics either. The gameplay is all played in one screen with a slightly different looking cat sitting across from you each round. The modifiers feel a little overwhelming as they collect along the side of the screen, and it hasn't felt like like I've have much control or understanding about each upgrade I pile on. I'd love to keep playing but there just isn't much here to keep me coming back for long... I've gotten to level 14 after 5 run attempts, but I have no idea how many levels are in a full run. Maybe the game will be updated in the future to have more explanation? I'm not gonna refund it because I do think it's an easy mindless game to play in the background of s…1 found this helpful
