Roach Royale is a multiplayer horror experience that blends survival gameplay, social paranoia, and battle royale mechanics into something far stranger and more chaotic than its title initially suggests. Developed and published by MOLOT, the game throws players into dark and hostile environments where survival depends just as much on human behavior as combat skills. Rather than focusing purely on shooting or fast reflexes, the game creates tension through mistrust, unpredictable encounters, and the constant threat of transformation after death. The result is a horror-focused multiplayer game that feels messy and experimental at times, but also genuinely unique when its systems begin working together. The atmosphere is easily one of the strongest elements of the experience. Roach Royale creates a grim and oppressive world filled with industrial ruins, narrow corridors, flickering lights, and disturbing creatures stalking the environment. Matches constantly feel uncomfortable because danger can appear from almost anywhere. The game uses darkness and environmental sound effectively to keep players tense even during quieter moments. Metallic echoes, distant screams, heavy footsteps, a…1 found this helpful
Despite starting in the holy resolution, this game is a disgrace to god.....That might be a little harsh, but the lack of polish is apparent from frame 1. The menus do not flow well, they don't make sense, they lie to you, they do not allow you to create lobbies with your friends, and by default you cannot see 1/3rd of the screen. Once you are playing the game, the game has no menu for you to quit. You might get to run around, pick up the guns and shoot which admittedly seems to work fairly well. Still, the game locks you in and forces you to either alt + f4 or end task. The game offers no direction initially into what the objective of the game is, what you should be doing or how any of the systems in the game work. That is just a small list of bugs that I discovered in the ~15 minutes of play I had. While I don't know anything about the development process of this game, if it came out of early access in this state, it is rough. It clearly needs more time in the oven, it needs to be more coherent and to tie all of its pieces together. It boasts as being 2-44 player coop/battle royale but you might end up with 44 people having completely different experiences just getting to the ma…1 found this helpful

Roach Royale has a decent structure to it, and what I played was pretty good , but sadly nobody is playing on a weekend during spring break. I was the only one in the game, but tested the course, and made it to the end at least 🔥 If we could get mobs to defend against while playing solo it would help add some life while racing to the end1 found this helpful
