behemoth pissed me the ♥♥♥♥ off
It's a party game, and I'm pretty much a party of one. However, even though I've only played this single-player, I've absolutely enjoyed it! When I first got Runbow, it was on the Wii U (yes, I've known about it for that long!), and I played every mode (I even tried Bowhemoth, but never finished it). Now that I have it on Steam, I'm gonna be playing it all over again to try and get every achievement - barring the multiplayer ones, because... well, no one wants to play this game with me. 😔 Runbow is an unique platformer, because some objects are affected by the color of the backdrop. If the same color platforms, lasers, etc. match the backdrop, they disappear, but when the background changes color, they reappear. This gives it a playing style that I don't think has been tried before or since this game's release. Your goal in most of the game is to get a trophy, though sometimes it's to defeat monsters or collect coins. The levels in Adventure Mode + Satura's Space Adventure are quite challenging. You will need to use your boost occasionally to clear wide gaps, reach high spaces, and avoid rows of spikes. Be prepared to die a lot. 😅 Thankfully, the individual courses are …

Platforms, walls, and hazards sharing the active background color disappear from the stage, forcing players to react instantly as safe paths become dangerous and previously inaccessible routes suddenly open. This clever concept transforms every race into an unpredictable contest where awareness and quick thinking are just as important as platforming skill. The game places a heavy emphasis on multiplayer competition, supporting large groups both locally and online. Whether players are sprinting toward the finish line, battling in arena-style matches, or fighting for control of specific objectives, every mode encourages frantic interaction and constant movement. The straightforward control scheme makes it easy for newcomers to participate, while experienced players can master advanced movement techniques and strategic positioning to ga…

This game runs like ♥♥♥♥. None of the controls are intuitive and are impossible to rebind to more convenient keys. Wasted time trying to join a group just in a room to play and then no one could even figure out how anything worked.
