About Sacred Almanac Traces of Greed

The mysterious disappearance of a chief engineer Jonathan Finch, interrupts the construction of a trunk railway. Construction company forced to freeze works. The head of the company sends a film footage with records of the accident to his friend, an ex-army officer Richard Stone. Richard's attention rivets one of the tragical moments. He notices the stone monument, and its origin become a riddle for the hero. Having agreed to participate in the investigation, Richard doesn't suspect yet, he takes a dangerous path of a defender of an ancient civilization.

An old game but very reminiscent of the awesome Meridien game series. NO hog scenes; Straight point and click adventure. Loved it.

Despite appearances, this is not a HOG is the usual sense. There are no special scenes where you have to find all the listed objects. There's also a lack of voice acting and the music is very repetitive. There's also a cane that you pick up in the very first scene that you sometimes have to use to advance. But I always forgot it was there so I got "stuck" at times. All in all, it is "serviceable" but I would only get it on sale for sure. Worked well on Steam Deck with touch screen controls.
